The AMC-3C87F3 is a single width, full-sized Advanced Mezzanine Card with exceptional processing performance and bandwidth. A total of nine 1GHz/1.2GHz DSP cores and a Xilinx Virtex-5 LX110T FPGA allow an application to be partitioned for the most effective utilisation of system resources.

  • A key feature of the AMC-3C87F3 is the triple SFP sockets which support CPRI/OBSAI antenna interfaces. These provide a direct connection to Remote Radio Heads (RRH) for 3 sector operation. Other options are possible. Timing synchronisation can be provided by an integrated GPS receiver with an optional OCXO for improved holdover performance. Timing can also be sourced or driven via the AMC clocks or an optional front panel SMB connector.
